Pierce The Berns

I want to create a pieces for an art gallery that makes people freak out, but not in a jolt of pure fear kind of way. More so in a “uhm..that’s not suppose to happen, what did I do?”

I want to base it around ideas of things looking like they’re breaking, but it when they do break they serve a different, but good, function. Or maybe things that just seem out of the ordinary, like as if you broke nature itself.

My first and only idea right now is a hallway with a mirror at the end. But it’s not a mirror, it’s a super crisp tv that is broadcasting a mirror image of what’s going on in the hallway. As you walk down the hallway it captures you and shows everything you do like a mirror, but when you get a certain distance the camera freezes an image of you and it stays like that as you’re still walking towards it..giving the sense that you’ve broken a natural thing and it kinda freaks you out :x oh and you’re far away enough to not notice its a tv screen :p

I dunno..it sounds lame on paper but I thought it was pretty cool :p
